Biography:
Professor DeGuire taught at the Law School from 1968 until 1970, at which time he joined the legal department of the Pabst Brewing Company, where he later became Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. He returned to the Law School in 1983, and served as Dean of the Law School from 1984 until 1994. Professor DeGuire was a reporter for the State Bar of Wisconsin Corporation Law Revision Committee. He also served as Chairman of the Wisconsin State Bar Committee on Legal Education and Bar Admissions. From 1975 to 1983, he was a member of Marquette University's Board of Trustees, and in 1978 he was named Distinguished Alumnus of the Year. He teaches a variety of business courses at the Law School.
