Biography:
Prior to joining the faculty full-time in 2001, Professor Hayford was a shareholder at Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren, S.C. in Milwaukee, concentrating on banking law, commercial lending and corporate restructuring and insolvency matters. While practicing law, she also taught Legal Writing and Legal Communications as an adjunct professor at Marquette for many years. She is a Harry S. Truman Scholar and a member of the Legal Writing Institute and the Association of Legal Writing Directors. Professor Hayford currently teaches Legal Writing & Research I each fall semester and Legal Writing & Research II each spring semester.
