Eisenberg Do Gooder's Auction hosted by the Public Interest Law Society on February 22, 2008 was a resounding success. Hosted in the elegant Pfister Hotel, the auction was attended by over 300 guests. Proceeds from this event support the Public Interest Law Society Summer Fellowship Program. This program provides summer stipends to support students working in non-paying public interest jobs (from non-profit agencies to government positions). The auction last year helped raise over $50,000 to fund public interest law fellowships, which allowed PILS to provide twelve full fellowships and one partial fellowship for students to help non-profit legal organizations all over the country. We'd like to raise even more this year, and we hope you can help us!
