The lecture, which will be delivered late afternoon on Monday, October 16 by Eugene Volokh, who is the Gary T. Schwartz Professor at UCLA Law School, will be entitled "Law, Politics, and Slippery Slopes."
Professor Volokh is an especially prominent commentator on the law. He established the popular Volokh Conspiracy blog, and his extensive scholarly work has appeared in the Harvard and Stanford law reviews, Supreme Court Review, Law and Contemporary Problems, among many other places (see http://www.law.ucla.edu/volokh/). He is a former law clerk to Justice O'Connor and Judge Kozinski.
