Community Service Opportunities

Marquette Law School encourages its students, faculty, staff and alumni to be engaged in their communities. The Office of Public Service at the Law School coordinates numerous opportunities for pro bono or voluntary legal work, and the University Offices of Community Service and University Ministry offer various opportunities for student involvement.

Direct service to the community is also encouraged for faculty, staff and alumni. In the Milwaukee area, a number of resources are available to assist you in locating a volunteer opportunity of interest. Voluntary service provides a positive example to our students, contributes to Marquette's mission, raises the profile of Marquette Law School in the community, and often provides a great sense of personal satisfaction, helping to integrate the academic and civic aspects of our lives.
