DESCRIPTION:

On Tuesday, November 13, 2012, as part of the Speakers from Practice Series, students are invited to join a discussion about the bar application process featuring Professor Dan Blinka and Director for Career Planning Erin Binns.  They will address bar application processes and respond to student questions and concerns about character and fitness applications.

3Ls should attend. 1Ls & 2Ls should attend if considering practicing in Illinois, Alabama, Iowa, California, Florida, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, or Oklahoma, as these states have law student registration requirements.

The discussion will take place at 12 pm in room 144.  Refreshments will be provided.

Before the program students can submit questions in writing to Administrative Assistant Catherine Bergman in Career Planning Office, room 240, or anonymously by email. The panel invites questions that are specific to a student’s situation or that are couched as hypotheticals relating to unidentified or future applicants.
