The Bradley Foundation

When the The Bradley Foundation announced its $1 million grant to Marquette University Law School in 2007, the building that is fast becoming Eckstein Hall was but a dream.

At the time, awarding the largest gift in the Law School’s history, the Bradley Foundation called it a “fundamental component of Milwaukee’s future.”

And its president and CEO, Michael Grebe, had this to say to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:  “We think that a local law school is an important institution in the life of this city. Marquette turns out many of the attorneys and judges in Milwaukee, and they play an important role in the justice system, both civil and criminal, and we think that fits very well with our mission.”
