Atty. Letissa Carver Reid is the Assistant Director for Career Planning at Marquette University Law School. Ms. Reid joined the Career Planning Center after practicing law in Chicago for 10 years at Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP (now SNR Denton LLP) and the Chicago office of the Milwaukee-based firm Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan LLP. Ms. Reid’s practice focused on environmental and energy compliance matters and commercial and utility rate litigation. Prior to large law firm practice, Ms. Reid served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Shelvin L.M. Hall of the Illinois Appellate Court, First District. Ms. Reid holds a J.D. from Indiana University –Bloomington and a B.A. from the University of Michigan –Ann Arbor.
