Biography
Professor Deitrich received his undergraduate degree from Susquehanna University, summa cum laude, in 1992, and his law degree from Marquette Law School,magna cum laude, in 1995. Following graduation from Marquette he practiced law in Wisconsin for seven years, primarily in the areas of criminal defense and employment discrimination, litigating cases before state and federal courts and agencies. In 2002, he became a career law clerk for United States District Judge Lynn Adelman of the Eastern District of Wisconsin, where he assumed responsibility for the Judge’s criminal docket.
Professor Deitrich has published in the areas of federal sentencing and constitutional law in the Federal Sentencing Reporter, Federal Courts Law Review, Roger Williams University Law Review, Marquette Law Review, National Law Journal and Legal Times.
