Appellate Advocacy Workshop—Power Advocacy:  Tips and Techniques

Free one-day appellate practice skills workshop

  • Morning devoted to brief writing and afternoon to oral argument
  • Focus on concrete techniques for improving advocacy
  • Opportunities to practice new techniques and get feedback
  • Option of bringing in a real brief for editing assistance
  • Taught by experienced appellate attorneys (criminal and civil) and law school faculty

Register for the full day or just the morning or afternoon session. But please note that space is limited and, if we reach maximum capacity, priority will go to full-day registrants. And you'll want to attend for the full day anyway, since full-day registration comes with lunch and a lunch-hour ethics presentation.

The workshop will be submitted for approval for 7 CLE credits, including 1 ethics credit (for full-day participants who attend the ethics lunch).
