You may want to check your own clips - you covered the 2002 visit by President Bush to THREE schools in one day to talk specifically about education, testing in particular. This week Wisconsin public school students are taking the Wisconsin Knowledge Concepts Examinations (WKCE). Since 2002, scores on WKCE are part of the criteria for advancement to grades 5 & 9. President Obama is not the first President with an interest in state education policy or legislation.
