This CLE will examine the changing nature of “work” and its impact on labor and employment law. The American economy now has more workers employed in the service sector, working at home and while in transit, and utilizing all sorts of technology and social media to complete their tasks. How should the law respond to these changes in both the public sector and private sector workplaces? What about the impact of this new technology on employees' privacy rights? These and other related topics will be examined during this timely CLE.
