IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT CLINIC HOURS
Since our clinics operate on a first come, first served basis it is always best to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to clinic closing for the best chance (but unfortunately not a guarantee) of being seen. 

Upon clinic closing, those not seen will receive priority for a future clinic.

Phone numbers are provided only for obtaining directions and to confirm hours of operation
(which may vary during holiday seasons or due to severe weather).

Some clinics have specialty services, noted in bold below. 


1. House of Peace Community Center

This location will review any civil (non-criminal) legal matter. A representative from Milwaukee County Child Support Enforcement is available to answer questions the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 5:00-7:00 p.m. A bankruptcy specialist is available to help with bankruptcy matters on the first Tuesday of each month from 3:00-5:00 p.m.

2. Council for the Spanish Speaking - Hillview Building

1615 S 22nd Street, 3rd Floor
Wednesdays, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (except holidays or other dates the Council for the Spanish Speaking is closed)

This location will review any civil legal matter. Services are available in English and Spanish. In addition, an Immigration attorney is available for one-time consultations. A representative from Milwaukee County Child Support Enforcement is available to answer questions the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of each month.

3. Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic for Veterans

This clinic serves only veterans and their families.

4. Milwaukee Justice Center

Milwaukee County Courthouse, Room G9 - 901 N. 9th Street
Thursdays AND Fridays, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m

This location will review any civil legal matter.  A Housing advocate is available to help with Landlord-Tenant matters on Thursdays from 2:00-3:00 p.m, and a child support specialist will be at the MJC on Thursdays and Fridays.

5. Legal Clinic for Hmong Speakers
