M-LINC

The Marquette Legal Initiative for Nonprofit Corporations (M-LINC) provides free legal advice for qualifying Wisconsin nonprofits with legal questions in the following areas: real estate, intellectual property, bankruptcy, employment, corporate, tax, and federal and state registration requirements.

A qualifying nonprofit is a charitable, religious, civic, community, governmental, or educational organization designed to address the needs of persons of limited means or facing barriers to justice.

M-LINC assists qualifying nonprofits at a weekly clinic held at Marquette Law School (1215 W. Michigan St., Milwaukee, Wis.)  The clinic is run on an appointment only basis

To request an appointment with M-LINC, fill out the appointment request form.  *THIS FORM IS FOR NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS ONLY.*  Other brief legal advice questions (e.g., landlord tenant questions, family law, etc.) are addressed at the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinics).  Legal advice is not provided via telephone or email.  Our volunteer attorneys may only give legal advice during the scheduled appointment.
