M-LINC

The Marquette Legal Initiative for Nonprofit Corporations (M-LINC) provides free brief legal advice for qualifying Wisconsin nonprofits and organizations seeking tax exempt status.

A qualifying nonprofit is a charitable, religious, civic, community, governmental, or educational organization designed to address the needs of persons of limited means or facing barriers to justice.

M-LINC assists qualifying nonprofits at a weekly clinic held at Marquette Law School (1215 W. Michigan St., Milwaukee, Wis.)  The clinic is run on an appointment only basis

To request an appointment with M-LINC, fill out the appointment request form.  *THIS FORM IS FOR NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS ONLY.*  Other brief legal advice questions (e.g., landlord tenant questions, family law, etc.) are addressed at the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinics).  Legal advice is not provided via telephone or email.
