On Friday, April 28th, 2017, the National Sports Law Institute and Sports Law program at Marquette University Law School will host its Annual Sports Law Awards Banquet.
During the Banquet we will honor students for their service to the Sports Law program at Marquette with special focus on the graduating students who have participated in our Sports Law program, all members of the Sports Law Review, and members of the Sports Law Society.
In addition, we will honor the recipient of the 2017 Charles W. Mentkowski Sports Law Alumnus of the Year Award, Susan Allen, Partner, Stafford Rosenbaum LLP, a member of the class of 2006 and the Sports Law Alumni Association. We will also honor the recipient of the 2017 Joseph E. O’Neill Award, Jim McKeown, Partner and Member, Sports Industry Team and Antitrust Practice Group, Foley & Lardner LLP, adjunct professor of law, and member of the NSLI’s Board of Advisors.
The banquet begins with a reception at 6 pm in the 4th floor gallery, followed by dinner at 7 pm and our awards program thereafter in room 433.
