Student Awards

Congratulations to Alexander Perwich and Jason Muth for taking first and third place, respectively, in the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Annual Writing Contest for Law Students.  

First place ($3,000) went to Alexander Perwich for his submission entitled Kienitz v. Sconnie Nation, LLC: The Seventh Circuit’s Necessary Resistance to Defining the Fair Use Doctrine Solely in Terms of Transformativeness.

Third place ($1,000) went to Jason Muth for his submission entitled The Emerging Role of Investor-State Dispute Settlement Arbitration in Resolving Patent Disputes Under the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
