On the Issues: An Ounce of Summer Prevention in Public Safety?

We hope you will join us on June 1 for “On the Issues: An Ounce of Summer Prevention in Public Safety?”

Milwaukee Police Chief Jeffrey Norman, L’02, and Milwaukee County Sheriff Denita Ball will join Lubar Center Director Derek Mosley for a conversation about public safety in the city and county. What is reality, as opposed to perception? What is being done to minimize the summer increase in disorder that sometimes occurs? How is Milwaukee faring compared with similar cities? We will also discuss the Milwaukee Police Department’s 2023 Violent Crime Plan.

The program will begin promptly at 12:15 p.m. in Eckstein Hall.  A light lunch will be available.
