  • Healthcare Financial Management Association HFMA is the nation's leading membership organization for healthcare financial management executives and leaders. The site contains a job bank.
  • Health Care Job Store This site lists over 16,000 health care jobs including positions in administration.
  • Institute of Internal Auditors The Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation offered by the Institute of Internal Auditors is the only globally accepted certification for internal auditors and remains the standard by which individuals demonstrate their competency and professionalism in the internal auditing field.

  • Association of Legal Administrators is the primary professional organization for individuals responsible for administration and management in law firms. The ALA offers associate membership to practicing lawyers with an interest in those areas. The web site offers a career center and a job bank.
  • Electronic Recruiting Exchange boasts a daily newsletter, a job board for recruiting and HR positions, articles on the recruiting industry and careers and message boards addressing various topics in the industry. The Electronic Recruiting Exchange hosts the annual ER Expo, a recruiting and workforce management conference for recruiting and HR managers, directors and executives.

  • LobbySearch Lobby Search is a web-based directory of federal and state lobby firms and lobbyists.
  • Opportunities in Public Affairs Website that bills itself as the #1 source of Capitol Hill, Public Relations and Public Affairs jobs in the Washington, DC area. The site lists some Capitol Hill jobs, government affairs and policy jobs, and entry-level jobs and internships. There also is a Capitol Hill Job Guide.
  • Politics1 This site -the most comprehensive guide to U.S. politics- includes a job bank of campaign and political staff positions.
  • Roll Call This online version of the Newspaper of Capitol Hill comes out weekly and covers all of the political activity in Washington, DC. Roll call and also has a section called RCJobs, a political job site.

  • Brad Traverse The website is a comprehensive resource for jobs on Capitol Hill and off the Hill in the fields of government relations, public policy and affairs, PR, communications, and political campaigns. Users must subscribe on a monthly or annual basis.
  • NonProfitJobs.org This is an online gathering place for non-profit employers.
  • Grassroots Campaigns This organization offers jobs such as field organizer, Regional Director and Canvass Director. Its mission is to build grassroot support for progressive candidates, parties and campaigns.
  • House.Gov This is the official site for the U.S. House of Representatives. Vacancy announcements for a variety of positions are listed.
  • Idealist This is a diverse listing for all types of policy and public interest jobs.
  • Midwest Academy This academy is based in Chicago and works to enable people to actively participate in the democratic process. There are multiple jobs available in organizing and coordinating campaigns.
  • National Conference of State Legislatures The NCSL's site is a clearinghouse for state legislation positions and state public policy positions.
  • Opportunities in Public Affairs This site details opportunities in Public Affairs, specifically public affairs job openings in the public and private sector.
  • Public Policy Handbook The Public Policy Handbook provides information regarding internship and fellowship opportunities with think tanks, advocacy organizations, federal agencies, and other institutions engaged in policy formulation, implementation, analysis and evaluation.   • RollCall This site is run by Roll Call newspaper. It includes jobs on the Hill, as well as not-for-profit and private sector jobs.
  • Union Jobs Clearinghouse This site lists staffing, trades and apprenticeship positions in many areas of interest and all across the country.
  • United States Senate Placement Office Applicants can explore postings for openings with the U.S. Senate as well as register themselves with the online resume bank that assists U.S. Senators and Senate Committees with filling entry level through professional staff vacancies.
  • USAJobs This is a strong federal employment job site.
  • WomenJob This site is specifically designed to place women and lists internship opportunities as well.

Real Estate

  • National Association of Real Estate Brokers The NAREB's mission is to bring together the nation's minority professionals working in the real estate industry.
  • International Real Estate Institute is the largest international real estate association in the world. IREI boasts members in over 100 countries and its mission is to provide professional recognition and a method to easily network with real estate professionals both internationally and at home. The website has a link to various international real estate publications and has a searchable membership list.
  • National Association of Home Builders The NAHB's site lists local home builders associations.
  • Home Innovation Research Labs is the research arm of the National Association of Home Builders. The NAHBRC is a research and development leader in the homebuilding industry. The organization works with builders and manufacturers, design professionals and housing research, and government and industry. This site has a job bank.
  • Canadian Home Builders Association (CHBA) is the voice of Canada's residential construction industry, representing more than 6,800 member firms across Canada. The CHBA is comprised of men and women working in every area of Canada's housing industry- new home builders and renovators, land developers, trade contractors, product and material manufacturers, building product suppliers, lending institutions, insurance providers, service professionals and others. This organization publishes a brochure on Career Paths in the Residential Construction Industry.
  • International Counsel of Shopping Centers (ICSC) is the global trade association of the shopping center industry. Its members include shopping center owners, developers and managers. ICSC publishes a legal update for its members and hosts an annual Law Conference. This site also has a job bank.
  • National Association of Realtors (NAR)'s site has an extensive Law and Policy section and the organization publishes a Letter of the Law newsletter which is available to registered users.
  • Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Institute is the largest commercial affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. A CCIM is an expert in commercial and investment real estate and approximately 7,500 professionals have this designation. In order to become a CCIM, a candidate must complete several CCIM accredited courses.
  • Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) is an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. This organization is a leading professional commercial and industrial association.
  • National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) boasts a job bank and its career center provides descriptions of various real estate careers and the skills necessary to succeed in real estate.
  • Urban Land Institute (ULI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit research and education organization. Its membership includes professionals from the land use and real estate development disciplines who are from both the public and private sectors. ULI's mission is to provide responsible leadership in the use of land to enhance the total environment. The list of ULI sponsored programs includes networking events.
  • Building Owners and Managers Association, International (BOMA)'s mission is to enhance the human, intellectual and physical assets of the commercial real estate industry through advocacy, education, research, standards and information. BOMA is a source for information on office building development, leasing, building, operating costs, energy consumption patterns, local and national building codes, legislation, occupancy and technological development.
