Street closure advisory for commencement

Students, family and friends attending commencement events should be aware that a portion of 6th Street will be closed for construction and will affect car and foot traffic just north of the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

Sixth Street currently is closed between Juneau Ave. and McKinley Ave. and will remain closed during commencement on Sunday, May 22. Signs will direct car and foot traffic to a detour route around the closure.

The BMO Harris Bradley Center has provided the following link to plan alternate travel routes. BMO Harris Bradley Center management recommends allowing for extra time for travel and parking on the morning of commencement because there are other events happening in the area at the same time. They also recommend checking the Wisconsin Department of Transportation website for road conditions and potential traffic delays.
