Join members of the Federal Practice Society, in partnership with the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association, on Thursday October 14th for a panel discussion focused on overcoming the many challenges of practicing law as a new attorney. A panel of three attorneys with diverse experiences in the legal field will discuss the things they wish someone told them as junior associates, and share insights on how young attorneys can build thriving practices. Topics will include the challenges of working from home, building confidence in your abilities, networking, and how to continue developing new legal skills. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own questions for the panel. Speakers will include:

  • Greg Heinen (University of Virginia Law School '13): Greg has been with Foley & Lardner since 2013.
  • Kate Maternowski Biebel (Notre Dame Law School '12): Kate spent the early part of her career at Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren before clerking for Judge Stadtmueller and then accepting a position as an Assistant U.S. Attorney.
  • Ashley Webber (Marquette University Law School '11): Ashley has been with Crivello Carlson since 2012.
