Wisconsin African American Lawyers Association (WAAL) Scholarship Applications Due

WAAL is an association of African-American lawyers dedicated to ensuring diversity in Wisconsin's legal community. WAAL is offering the following law-student scholarships to inspire future African-American leaders in the legal profession:

• The VelanDale Scholarship Award for $5,000;
• The Honorable Maxine A. White Award for $1,000; and
• The Honorable Charles N. Clevert, Jr. Award for $2,000.

The applicant must be a first- or second-year African American student. If you are interested, please email naomie.kipulu@marquette.edu to receive an email copy of the application.

The scholarship award will be a check given directly to the student. Applications are due April 6, 2020.
