Kristin A. Occhetti is an attorney with the national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP. She focuses her practice on estate planning and wealth preservation strategies for individuals, small business owners and professionals. Her experience includes preparing wills, trusts, financial powers of attorney, and health care powers of attorney; traditional bypass trust and marital deduction planning; charitable estate planning; generation-skipping transfer tax planning; special needs planning; and complex trust and probate administrations.
Ms. Occhetti is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A., 2003) and Marquette University Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2007). While in law school, Ms. Occhetti was Associate Editor of the Marquette Law Review (2006-2007) and an intern to the Honorable Patience Drake Roggensack, Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Ms. Occhetti was selected for inclusion in Wisconsin Super Lawyers Rising Stars 2011-2013 Editions (Estate Planning & Probate) and is the recipient of the 2013 Howard B. Eisenberg Service Award from Marquette University Law School. She is also co-Chair of the Children's Hospital Pro Bono Guardianship Clinic and the Milwaukee Guardianship Assistance Program.
