Matthew Aubart's affiliation with Marquette University Law School began in July 2010 when the doors opened to the new law school facility, Eckstein Hall. As Building Supervisor, Matt is responsible for the hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly functioning of all physical aspects of this 200,000 square foot structure. From coordinating the activities of the Welcome Desk to monitoring parking levels to making sure that classroom setups and office furniture are all in good shape, Matt and his team of 30 plus student employees ensure that all runs smoothly behind the scenes in Eckstein Hall.
A native of River Falls, Wisconsin, Matt is a 2010 graduate of Marquette University's College Arts and Sciences with a major in Theology and a minor in Biological Studies. While an undergraduate student, Matt worked in the residence halls as a hall secretary, hall store manager, resident assistant, and a facility manager. He is currently enrolled in a graduate program in Education. In his spare time, Matt spends time working on his home or in the garage. His dog Lexi is his pride and joy -- she demands a good portion of the time he is not spent in Eckstein Hall. Together they go on long walks, camp, hike, and Lexi's favorite activity, swimming.
