{"id":27177,"date":"2017-11-05T12:42:02","date_gmt":"2017-11-05T18:42:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/law.marquette.edu\/facultyblog\/?p=27177"},"modified":"2021-09-30T15:42:18","modified_gmt":"2021-09-30T20:42:18","slug":"our-guest-bloggers-for-november","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/law.marquette.edu\/facultyblog\/2017\/11\/our-guest-bloggers-for-november\/","title":{"rendered":"Our Guest Bloggers for November"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There is frost on the pumpkin, so it must be time to welcome our guest bloggers for the month of November.<\/p>\n<p>Our Alumni Blogger of the Month is Stacy Alexejun.\u00a0\u00a0Stacy is a litigation attorney in the Madison office of Quarles &amp; Brady LLP.\u00a0 She focuses her practice on product liability defense and intellectual property litigation, with an emphasis in trademark, trade secret, copyright, and unfair competition matters.\u00a0 Before joining Quarles, Stacy clerked for three terms for Justice Annette Kingsland Ziegler of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.\u00a0 She is a 2009 graduate of Marquette University Law School and has a B.A. in English from the University of Wisconsin.\u00a0 She and her husband Brad have a 20-month-old daughter, Lucille.<\/p>\n<p>Our Student Blogger of the Month is Samantha Feak.\u00a0 Samantha is originally from Sagola, Michigan.\u00a0 She attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and graduated with a degree in international politics and U.S. foreign relations.\u00a0 She served as a Summer Law Fellow at the Milwaukee Justice Center and has been active in both the American Association for Justice and the Wisconsin Association for Justice.<\/p>\n<p>Welcome and we look forward to your posts!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #1f497d; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There is frost on the pumpkin, so it must be time to welcome our guest bloggers for the month of November.
