The team was capably coached by Attorneys Kieran O&#8217;Day and Evan Thomsen.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This year, the team advanced from the preliminary rounds to the octofinal round. This is an impressive accomplishment, as the competition involves <a href=\"https:\/\/www.actl.com\/home\/awards-competitions-grants\/national-moot-court-competition\">more than 180 law schools and over 1000 law students<\/a> each year. 28 teams competed at nationals this year. Our team advanced to nationals as finalists at the region 8 round of competition, which is hosted at Marquette Law School (virtually in 2021).
