{"id":30770,"date":"2024-04-06T15:40:04","date_gmt":"2024-04-06T20:40:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/law.marquette.edu\/facultyblog\/?p=30770"},"modified":"2024-06-03T17:54:00","modified_gmt":"2024-06-03T22:54:00","slug":"jenkins-honors-moot-court-competitors-advance-to-semifinals-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/law.marquette.edu\/facultyblog\/2024\/04\/jenkins-honors-moot-court-competitors-advance-to-semifinals-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Jenkins Honors Moot Court Competitors Advance to Semifinals"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Congratulations to the students in the Jenkins Honors Moot Court Competition who have moved on to the&nbsp;semifinal round of the competition.&nbsp;The students will be competing tomorrow, Sunday, April 7&nbsp;at noon to determine which two teams will be advancing to the final round on Wednesday, April 10, at 6 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following teams will be competing in the semifinals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abby Nilsson and Mackenzie Retzlaff<br>Catherine Alles and Joseph Schimp<br>Josephine Napolski and Sydney Wilcox<br>John Bolton and Daniel Underwood<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The final round of the Jenkins competition will take place on Wednesday, April 10, at 6 PM in the Lubar Center. We\u2019re honored to welcome the following distinguished jurists who will judge the final round:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hon. John K. Bush, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hon. J.P. Stadtmueller (L\u201967), U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hon. Maria Lazar, Wisconsin Court of Appeals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
