yesterday, WISN (Channel 12) ran an interesting\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wisn.com\/politics\/19572043\/detail.html\">story focusing on the reactions of Ed Fallone and Rick Esenberg<\/a>.\u00a0 The story highlighted Ed&#8217;s correct prediction of the Sotomayor nomination in a <a href=\"http:\/\/law.marquette.edu\/facultyblog\/2009\/05\/01\/souter-retiring\/\">comment on this Blog <\/a>on the very day Justice Souter announced his retirement.\u00a0 (Have any good stock tips, Ed?)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I also enjoyed reading the characteristically <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/stories\/0509\/22986_Page3.html\">thoughtful commentary on\u00a0<em>Politico<\/em> <\/a>about Sotomayor by our former colleague Scott Moss.\u00a0 His observation of gender bias in some of the criticisms of Sotomayor resonates with <a href=\"http:\/\/http:\/\/papers.ssrn.com\/sol3\/papers.cfm?abstract_id=1397699\">recent work by Andrea Schneider <\/a>on gender\u00a0roles in negotiation, which I plan to blog about later today.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amidst all of the press coverage of the Sotomayor nomination
