Law Student Volunteer Information
Get trained to join other Marquette Law Students in serving the Milwaukee community and graduate with an honor cord for service once you complete 50+ hours! All students (including 1Ls) are encouraged to attend the training and volunteer.

Live, in-person training is offered at the beginning of every semester and summer. Dates and registration information will appear in Law News and is also available below.

Once you are trained to volunteer with the MVLC, you can pick up shifts at any of the locations. They all function essentially the same and it's nice to sample the "flavor" of each site. Information on all locations can be found here.
Student Advisory Board
In addition to being a regular volunteer with the MVLC, there are leadership opportunities as Student Advisory Board (SAB) Members. The SAB Member role consists primarily of assisting with the facilitation of regular clinics. More information is available in the Position Description below. Application are due in April of each year.
