Denver Trial Lawyers Annual Scholarship Contest -- $2,000

Sunday, December 1, 2019 - 12:00pm • n/a

The jury trial system is a vital part of America’s system of checks and balances. Checks and balances create a strong judicial system within our government which relies upon a jury trial option. The Founding Fathers believed that jury trials prevent tyranny by allowing the citizens serving on the jury to be the final decision makers. Jury trials are unique to America’s democracy and justice system, and are a constitutional right not found in many other countries.

The best written and most compelling essay will be selected by the team at Denver Trial Lawyers and the winner will receive an award of $2,000 to be put towards their law school tuition. In addition, we will publish the winner's essay on our website and share it through all of our social media channels.

Denver Trial Lawyers wants to know what does justice mean to you? Our Denver serious injury attorneys are asking YOU, the citizen, to write a compelling and strong 750+ word essay.

Applicants must be enrolled or accepted into an ABA accredited law school in the United States as of the fall 2019 semester.
Applicants must submit their essay and other required information by Monday, December 1, 2019.

Applications must be received no later than Monday, December 1, 2019. The winner will be selected and notified by no later than Monday, December 15, 2019.
