Strom & Associates Annual Scholarship -- $1,500
Strom & Associates understands the increasing costs of college tuition makes it more difficult to graduate college for many outstanding students across the nation. Therefore, we are offering one $1,500 scholarship. The scholarship committee will select the student who submits the best essay focusing on the given topic.
This scholarship is open to any US citizen or permanent US resident who will be enrolled full time in an accredited community college, college or university, or accredited law school in the fall of 2018.
- The student must complete the online application which appears below by July 15, 2018. Applications submitted via any other channel will not be considered.
- The applicant must give full rights for the use of the essay to Strom & Associates for any advertising or promotional purposes.
- The student must provide proof of enrollment should his or her essay be selected.
- The winner must consent to the use of his or her picture and other basic information on the winner page of the stromlawyers.com website.
Write an essay of 1,500 words or less on the following topic:
Certain trucking regulations exist that are aimed at reducing semi-truck accidents. The trucking industry is seeking to roll back or eliminate some of these regulations. Should President Trump relax existing restrictions and safety standards meant to reduce semi-truck accidents? Why or why not?
Your essay must include at least three links to authoritative sources. At least one of these links must be to one of the posts below or to another post on stromlawyers.com.

Professor Strifling Seeks Research Assistant
Professor Strifling seeks one or two research assistant(s) for the summer to assist with ongoing water law and policy research related to stormwater management. The successful applicant will become part of an interdisciplinary cross-campus research team. Because this project is grant funded, the position is for pay, not for credit. Interested students should submit a short cover e-mail and a resumé to Professor Strifling no later than Wednesday, May 2, at 5:00 p.m. Students must have completed 27 law school credits and be in good academic standing to be eligible for a research assistant position.Contact: David Strifling
