Write-On Competition Reminder for Benefits and Social Welfare Law Review

The Marquette Benefits and Social Welfare Law Review publishes articles devoted to international and domestic civil rights and social justice perspectives on employee benefits, disability, elder, health, poverty, and social insurance law. The breadth of the journal is expansive and allows students to focus on areas of individual interest.

The selection process will occur via a traditional write-on competition, which includes a decision analysis and a Bluebooking exercise. The dates for the write on competition will be May 11 through June 10. If selected to join the team as a Staff Editor, you will be responsible for editing an article throughout the fall and spring semesters, as well as writing your own individual comment that could be published by the journal!

Being able to add that you served on a law review during school to your resume is a great sign to employers that you have advanced research, writing, and Bluebooking skills, and it is a great way to meet fellow students with whom you may not have worked before.

If you have interest in participating in the write on competition, please fill out this form:
