Using a Mac at MULS

We are no strangers when it comes to using a Mac. As a matter of fact, we are seeing an increase in Mac usage in the building. Most of the software and websites that you will use while here will work with your Mac.

Our wireless network, printing system (Printwise), and exam software (SofTest) are all Mac-compatible. A few non-Mac friendly applications which you might run into during your career at law include Lexis' Casemap software as well as our Microsoft SharePoint site for workgroup collaboration. Though Macs have some functionality with Sharepoint, Casemap cannot be run on a non-Windows operating system. Should this be a problem, we are able to make both of these applications available to you in our lab in room 226.

The law school does not require a laptop, however most students enter the builidng with a personal laptop.

The law school offers various software programs to students, some free, others at steep discount. Refer to our services for student section of the site for that information. In the meantime, here is information that might be useful when working in some of the courses in law school.
