For the Soul: A Narrated Food Tasting and Conversation

The Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education is partnering with America's Black Holocaust Museum and Black Lens of Milwaukee Film on For the Soul: A Narrated Food Tasting and Conversation. Lubar Center Director Derek Mosley, along with special guests, will explore the rich history of African American food culture in American cuisine. Come to socialize and learn while enjoying delectable dishes prepared by local chefs. Participating restaurants include Heavens Table BBQ, Daddy's Soul Food & Grille, Vegan Soul, Turning Tables, and Mr. Dye's Pies.
