Sports Law Speaker Series: The Pettit Center and the 2022 Olympic Trials in Milwaukee

On Monday, November 22nd, 2021, as part of the Sports Law Speaker Series, the National Sports Law Institute hosts a discussion of the development of the Pettit Center, Milwaukee's Olympic training facility, its role hosting the 2022 U.S. Olympic Team Trials Long Track in January of 2022, and its work with the USOPC and United States Speedskating, which also hosts an internship within the Sports Law Certificate Program.  Guests will include Randy Dean, Executive Director of the Pettit Center (Quarterback for the New York Giants, 1977-1979), and David Tamburrino (class of 2015), Regional Development Coordinator, U.S. Speedskating, and member U.S. Speedskating team, 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway, and 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan.  This discussion will take place in room 433, starting at 12 pm.  Lunch will be provided to all attendees.
