AWL and SBA are proud to host Kimberley Motley (L'03) to speak about her exciting legal career. Kimberly Motley was a criminal defense attorney in Milwaukee until 2008, when she decided to join a program to train lawyers in war-torn Afghanistan. Only 32 years old when she embarked on this journey, her very first international trip, she became the first-ever foreign lawyer to practice in Afghanistan courts. She recently published a memoir, Lawless, detailing her extraordinary journey in one of the most dangerous countries in the world.
