Program Limitations: The service is provided on a first come, first served basis. Due to increased volume, it is possible that if you do not come early, you may not be seen. There will be a sign-in form inside room 153 and each person will be called in turn. The service is available to chapter 7 debtors (or people considering filing chapter 7 bankruptcy) who wish to proceed pro se (i.e., do not have a lawyer to represent them in a bankruptcy case).
Services Provided: Assistance with completing the required bankruptcy paperwork.
What to Bring: A list of all property/possessions and their resale values; list of all debts (creditor name and address, account number and amount due); payroll advices and documentation of all other sources of income for prior six months; current mortgage and auto loan statements; all lawsuit papers; all loan contracts or leases; two prior years’ tax returns; three months of bank statements and a budget.
