DESCRIPTION:

U.S. Representative Reid Ribble, Wisconsin (R), and U.S. Representative Mark Pocan, Wisconsin (D) — Public approval ratings for Congress are at historic lows. Is Washington hopelessly broken, incapable of addressing the nation’s greatest challenges? Congressman Pocan is a Democrat from Madison. Congressman Ribble is a Republican from the Fox Valley. They may differ on important issues, but they agree that elected officials in our nation’s capital must find a way to work together to move America forward. The two lawmakers are part of the No Labels Problem Solvers, a group of House and Senate members who meet regularly to build trust across the aisle. In this joint appearance at the Law School, Representatives Pocan and Ribble will discuss their work in Washington, and their desire to see Congress focus more on fixing, and less on fighting.
