Alumni Mock Interview Program
Marquette Law School alumni who are willing to share their interviewing expertise are invited to participate in the Law School’s Alumni Mock Interview Program (AMIP), a program designed to assist Marquette Law School students in developing and honing the skills necessary to successfully interview for legal positions.
The AMIP is offered annually in August. Alumni volunteers conduct one-on-one interviews with students at Eckstein Hall for the purpose of providing constructive feedback regarding the student’s interviewing skills. Each interview is scheduled for 30 minutes; 20 minutes for interview questions and 10 minutes for the attorney to provide feedback. Interview sessions are scheduled in either one, one-and-a-half, or two-hour blocks, with alumni working with two to four students. Interview schedules are set up to accommodate alumni and student availability.
The Career Planning Center encourages students to treat the mock interviews as real interviews in every respect and directs students to prepare accordingly.
If you would like to participate in the AMIP as a volunteer interviewer, please complete and submit the online form. Preference will be given to alumni with interviewing and recruiting experience. If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact the Career Planning Center at 414.288.3313 or email@example.com.
