MVLC CLE: Basics of an Adult Guardianship Case

Polly Shoemaker is an attorney at Haskins Main & Devine in Monona, Wisconsin. Her practice focuses on guardianships, estate planning, probate, elder law, and special needs planning. Prior to joining HMD, Polly served as the Managing Attorney for the Wisconsin Guardianship Support Center. She also has experience working with families of children with special health care needs and adults of all ages to address insurance and public benefit concerns, long-term care options, and transition planning. She serves on the Board of the Elder Law and Special Needs Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin and is a member of the Wisconsin Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
This free CLE series provides volunteers with in-depth information on some of the most commonly seen issues at the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinics (MVLC). These events are a great way to earn additional pro bono hours or CLE credit while enhancing your knowledge of the legal issues faced by clients of the MVLC.
Student attendees will earn one hour of pro bono time by attending the MVLC Volunteer CLE Series and attorney attendees will earn one hour of CLE credit.
