Are Your Pro Bono Records Up to Date?
The start of the year is a great time to make sure your pro bono records are up to date. Pro bono hours are for any work performed during law school that are: 1) primarily legal in nature, 2) supervised by a licensed attorney, 3) not performed for pay or academic credit, and 4) of service to underserved individuals, groups, causes, or those with barriers to access to jutice.
An accurate pro bono record will be useful to you when you complete your bar application(s).
Every student has a pro bono account. If you have never accessed your pro bono account, find information about it on the Pro Bono Onboarding SharePoint site. If you need any help, reach out to any member of the Office of Public Service.
