Get To Know: Aaron Lipski

Thursday, October 9, 2025 - 12:15pm • Eckstein Hall

Marquette Law School's Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education is pleased to celebrate Fire Safety Month, as we welcome Aaron Lipski, chief of the Milwaukee Fire Department, on October 9. Director Derek Mosley will moderate the event as part of the Lubar Center’s “Get To Know” series.

Chief Lipski has dedicated more than 25 years of service to the City of Milwaukee, serving the Fire Department in just about every way. He is a fourth-generation firefighter and a proud resident of Milwaukee. During this event, you will have the opportunity to learn about Chief Lipski's background, his approach to prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment, and his goals in addressing the challenges and opportunities involved in keeping Milwaukee residents safe—to get to know him and his work.

The program will begin promptly at 12:15 p.m. and will last for one hour. It will include lunch, conversation, and community in Eckstein Hall.
