This is an annoucement of an interest form for an AI law society student organization, hoping to start in the fall of 2026. Potential name "Marquette Artificial Intelligence Law Society" (MAILS).

SWANA Alliance is excited to announce that starting this Wednesday, February 18, for the month of Ramadan, the study room 332 will be available via ID access only to be used as a prayer space.
Students observing the holiday should fill out the form HERE if they would like to be added to the list to gain access to the room during Ramadan. Students will only have access to the room if they fill out the form. Please email Leya Rizeq or Nuha McDiarmid with any questions!

Monday, February 23, 2026 - 12:05am • Student Org Suite (Room 342A)Fashion and Art Law Society (FALS), along with AWL and SBA, is putting on the first ever Barristers' Ball Dress Swap. This event will take place over the week of February 23 through 27.
How it works:
- Drop off a dress (or multiple) and receive a ticket. Drop off will occur on February 23rd and 24th (Monday and Tuesday).
- Then, Wednesday through Friday (25th-27th) come shop over the lunch hour. Exchange your ticket(s) for a dress.
- Drop off and shopping will take place in the Student Org. Suite (room 342A).
Dresses accepted: Cocktail dress, evening formal wear, and/or black tie gowns
Drop off times: 7 to 9 a.m. and 12 to 1:30 p.m. (Monday and Tuesday)
Shopping times: 12 to 1:30 p.m. (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
Dresses will be locked up during non-shopping hours.

- $55 for a law student
- $110 for a law student and one guest
Strictly a 21+ event. All attendees will be carded at the bar.
All ticket sales will be online here, beginning Wednesday, February 4, at 9:45 a.m. Ticket sales end at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 6, unless all tickets sell out at an earlier time. In past years, tickets have sold out, so please do not wait until the last minute to purchase your tickets.
You may need to show your payment confirmation number at the registration table to enter the event. The payment confirmation is the second confirmation email that you will receive after submitting your credit card information. You may display this confirmation email on your phone rather than printing it out.
Ticket prices include:
- 2 drink tickets (beer, wine, seltzer choices)
- Unlimited soda and juice
- Heavy appetizers
If you choose to pose for photos at the event, please be aware that photos taken by SBA or a staff member may be posted online or used for marketing purposes following the event.
Each student is welcome to purchase a guest ticket. Guests do not need to be enrolled in a graduate program but must be 21 years of age.

Tickets cannot be refunded after 5 p.m. on Friday, March 13 except in the case of an overpayment (any amount over the ticket price will be refunded). If you would like to transfer your ticket to another law student, you may also do so. Please make sure all ticket transfers are completed by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25.
