Tryouts for the 2026-2027 Mock Trial Skills Course will be held between March 30 and April 1, 2026. This year-long curricular commitment is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable trial advocacy experience competing against other law schools. Trial Team members earn two credits each semester for their participation. Tryouts will consistent of a three minute statement and one cross examination of a witness. More information will be provided to participates at the time of sign up. If you can not make these dates work and still wish to tryout, please contact us. 

The fall scrimmage will be in the first few weeks of November 2026, and the spring regional competition will be in the first few weeks of March 2027. The team will practice each week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings as competition demands. The team has been very successful in recent years’ competitions, and we hope you will be a part of it!

If you are interested in coming to observe, the trial team currently meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:15 pm to 9:00 pm in the trial courtroom.
