Milwaukee Bar Association Board of Directors Law Student Liaisons

The Milwaukee Bar Association (MBA) in its goal of supporting the legal profession has established two liaison positions to its Board of Directors to ensure representation of the law student community. The MBA solicits the nomination of a second year law student annually to serve as a liaison to the MBA Board of Directors. The law studient liaison position is a two-year committment. 

Responsibilities include: attending one evening Board meeting on the fourth Tuesday of the odd months (including during summer break). It is expected that the liaisons will be active participants in the meetings, providign their perpsective in discussions. It is also expected that the liaisons will communicate the wants and needs of the law student population to the MBA Board in areas where the MBA may be able to assist. Law student liaisons will communicate MBA opportunities to the law student population.

Law student liaisons will recieve complimentary registration for all MBA events and be recognized as a MBA Board member at those events. These positions are a great opportunity to meet and work with leaders in Milwaukee's legal community.
