Fall 2026 Registration Materials Available Now

How to access the fall 2026 class schedule and materials: 

  • To find detailed course information, including methods of assessment, prerequisites, final exam dates, whether a course meets a graduation requirement, and important faculty notes, please review courses using this link to Marquette University Class Search (and consider bookmarking the link). Select "Law" in the "Any Subject" field to see all available fall law classes. 
  • Please also make sure to visit the Registration Materials page on the Law School's website to access the class schedule handout, final exam schedule, sign-up link for advising appointments.

1L Students:  

  • Plan to attend the now rescheduled Registration Information Session tomorrow, March 17, at 1 p.m. in the Lubar Center. Dean Grossman, Dean Fodor, and Registrar Toerpe Mason will review registration processes, graduation requirements, and important steps and advice to prepare you to register for the fall.  
  • Not sure about co-curricular opportunities such as journal, a judicial internship, or Moot Court? Mark your calendar for Monday, March 23, at noon, when we will host a Curricular Fair in room 433 for 1Ls to talk with student leaders and faculty advisors from these programs. 

All Students: 

  • All students are responsible for reviewing the final exam schedule when they register. Final exams will not be rescheduled for avoidable conflicts or back-to-back exam schedules.
  • Dean Fodor and Registrar Toerpe Mason are available during Walk-In Wednesdays (Wednesday to discuss your brief registration and curricular-advising questions. To set up a longer meeting to discuss your interests, please click on the "Curricular Advising" link on the Law School's Registration Materials webpage. 
  • Registration will open on April 7 and 8. To find your registration appointment time, please login to CheckMarq and follow these linked instructions
  • Make sure that you complete Preregistration Cheq before your registration appointment time to avoid a registration hold. 
  • If you have any registration holds on your account, take steps to clear the holds before your registration appointment time to avoid delays.  
  • The application for clinics, judicial internships, and supervised fieldwork placements will be available starting March 18. For all other questions about this program, please contact Director Anne Kearney.
