MU Graduate School Program: BOLD Leadership Speaker Event

Wednesday, November 11, 2026 - 5:00pm • O'Brien Hall, Room 150AB

Join Marquette Graduate School of Management for an engaging fireside chat featuring Kim Svoboda, bestselling author, leadership expert, executive coach, and founder and CEO of Aspiration Catalyst®, in conversation with Grace Coyle, Juris Doctor candidate at Marquette University Law School and Business Editor of the Marquette Law Review.

Drawing on more than 25 years of corporate leadership experience, Kim will share insights from her career as a business leader and entrepreneur, including her transition from corporate leadership to founding her own company. The discussion will explore the importance of building professional relationships, developing confidence and influence, navigating challenges, and leading with authenticity and purpose.

Through a discussion of her BOLD Leadership® framework, attendees will learn practical strategies for developing leadership skills, building high-performing teams, and turning ideas into meaningful results. These lessons are particularly relevant to law students preparing to enter the legal profession, where effective communication, sound judgment, collaboration, and the ability to build trust are essential to professional success.

Whether you aspire to work in private practice, serve as in-house counsel, pursue a career in business, or take on leadership roles within your organization, this conversation will offer valuable perspectives on developing the skills necessary to lead effectively throughout your career.

The first 75 attendees will receive a complimentary copy of Kim's book, BOLD Leadership: The Adventure of Building Excuse-Proof, Goal-Crushing Teams.
