April Pro Bono Student of the Month
We are proud to recognize Lillian Marrah as the April Pro Bono Student of the Month for her exceptional commitment to service to the Eviction Defense Project.
Since beginning in September 2025, Lillian has performed above and beyond—continuing her work through winter break and into the spring semester, logging more than 65 hours with the project. Her impact has been meaningful and immediate: she has helped 36 families avoid eviction, and her support extends even further to unrepresented tenants, where she takes the time to ensure they understand the process and feel seen.
She has become a trusted leader within the clinic, assisting with check-in, stepping in when needed, and taking on responsibilities beyond those typically expected of student volunteers. Just as important, Lillian brings warmth, positivity, and compassion to every interaction. She meets clients where they are and contributes to a welcoming, respectful environment for all.
Thank you, Lillian, for the care, dedication, and leadership you bring to this work. Your efforts are making a real difference.
