She is a lawyer, former legal counsel for the Governor of Wisconsin, a former executive at Miller Brewing and Kraft Foods, and the former director of the Department of Employee Relations for the City of Milwaukee. Today, Danae Davis is the dynamic leader of a successful non-profit that is working to transform Milwaukee. PEARLS serves at-risk girls ages 10-19. Its goal is to reduce teenage pregnancies in Milwaukee, and to send more young women to college. Davis will discuss her organization’s mission, her career, and her hopes for our city during this visit to the Law School. 12:15 to 1:15 p.m., Marquette Law School, Eckstein Hall
