The Office of Public Service (OPS) was created in 2005 under the leadership of Dean Joseph Kearney to build upon the legacy of public service performed by the late Dean Howard B. Eisenberg.
The Office of Public Service administers:
- Pro bono opportunities for law students and Marquette lawyers including the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinics and the Milwaukee Justice Center
- Public Interest Law Society including the annual Howard B. Eisenberg Do-Gooders’ Auction
- Posner Pro Bono Exchange and Pro Bono Honor Society Induction
- Loan Repayment Assistance Program
The Office of Public Service offers students, faculty, and alumni a range of opportunities centered on access to justice and community engagement.
