Andrew Stith, President of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School Milwaukee, and Maritza Contreras, Director of Administrative Management Services at the Hispanic Chamber of Wisconsin, former Cristo Rey Chicago student
There’s a new school in Milwaukee. Cristo Rey Jesuit High School is part of the successful national Cristo Rey network, and features not just rigorous academics, but something unique in today’s education environment: a workplace component. As part of their education, Cristo Rey students share full-time positions at local businesses. The goal is to produce graduates who are prepared for higher education and the workplace. Joining us will be the president of the school, Andrew Stith, and a former student at Cristo Rey Chicago and Marquette University graduate, Maritza Contreras, who will offer insights into the student experience at Cristo Rey.
